Our attitude is a key ELEMENT in controlling our lives.
Attitude is the LENS through which we view life.
Attitude is more important than going to school, being a student or being a graduate. Because one can be a student but fail to attend lectures or do assignments in school etc.
Attitude is more important than what is happening or NOT happening to you. Someone said "I didn't go to school because I did not have a sponsor. Another said, in spite of my impoverished background, I worked hard to see myself through school" Attitude!
Attitude is more important than having a skill or being gifted. One can have a good skill set or a good talent but a chronic liar. That alone cancels whatever gift or skill because nobody (customers) like consistent lies or disappointment in business dealings.
Attitude is more VALUABLE than one's appearance like being HANDSOME or beautiful, because nobody can successfully marry a beautiful thief/prostitute or a handsome bully/womanizer. Note the word SUCCESSFULLY.
Attitude is more important than being elderly, seniority or one's age because we've grown up with a child -like brain. Immaturity or ill attitude on the part of the elderly can make a younger person reign insult or abuse him/her.
Attitude is more important than who you marry. Bad attitude can SPOIL a great marriage. To enjoy harmony in your matrimony, one's attitude at home is very important.
Attitude is more important than where you work, because a bad attitude can RUIN or terminate one's appointment even in an oil company or government house.
Our attitude MODELS who we are now and where we will ultimately end up.
Your attitude determines how you treat people and the response you receive from them.
Our attitude towards people and circumstances determine if we will fail or succeed in the journey of life.
As a BUSINESS person, an attitude will bring an effective network that will increase your NET WORTH but a defective attitude can make you lose loyal customers.
As a CHURCH member/ leader, our attitude will determine if the kingdom of God will expand and decrease.
Take note of these IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT ATTITUDE.
1). Attitude is not SPIRITUAL.
2). Attitude is not a GIFT.
3). Attitude is a choice, you CHOOSE what kind of attitude to imbibe.
4). Attitude cannot or may not be able to change one's past but it does ENLARGE one's future.
5). Attitude is that one STRING we have as humans. It determines our actions and our reactions.
GREAT SUCCESSES HAVE ATTITUDE like;
1). Attitude of ON-TIME. They are always on time for the demands of life
2). Attitude of COMMITMENT. They are up every morning with determination and retire to bed every night with satisfaction.
3). Attitude towards OTHERS, also called BEATITUDE . Having a beautiful attitude towards others. Let your life so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven.(Math. 5 vs 16)
Understand that, sometimes your attitude may not affect your relationship with God but it does affect your relationship with men.
4). Attitude of GRATITUDE. Great successes are always appreciative of whatever they receive from God and man.
